Tavolini in due minuti

 Con il buon Gnotta stavamo pensando a come finire la clinica, e una delle cose che sicuramente mancano sono i tavoli nella caffetteria. Dopo alcune ricerche siamo giunti a questa soluzione, semplice e veloce da replicare.

 With the good Gnotta we're thinking about complete the clinic, e one of the many things that miss for sure are the cafeteria tables. After some research we found this solution, simple yet fast to replicate.

I Frosty stanno arrivando!!

  Ed eccoci qui, di ritorno dalle ferie, decisamente ristorato e pronto a ricominciare a scrivere sul blog!

Da un po di tempo a questa parte una sezione dell'immagine a fianco compare sul mio Header. Perché?

Si tratta di un progettino per Blood Bowl ovvero i Frosty! L'idea non è mia, ma di Leadaddicted, mi è piaciuta talmente tanto che non ho potuto esimermi dal rubarla!

I Frosty sono una squadra di Ogri in cui al posto dei simpatici bestioni ci sono i Pupazzi di neve, e al posto degli snotling... beh è argomento per un altro post :D.

From some time a section of this image appear on my header's corner. Why?

It is a little project for Blood Bowl ie Frosty! The idea is not mine, but came from Leadaddicted, I liked it so much that I could not fail to steal it!

The Frosty are a team of Ogres in which to place the cute beasts are the Snowmen, and instead of Snotlings ... well it is subject for another post: D.


 I modelli sono stati scolpiti dalla mia dolce metà, e da me dipinti.

Questa la fuffa:

"Tra le tante strane creature che hanno partecipato al gioco del Blood Bowl una menzione speciale spetta sicuramente ai Frosty. La squadra infatti è composta esclusivamente da pinguini ammaestrati e da imponenti costrutti di neve, animati da un Nevomante. Molto particolare la cerimonia di apertura, infatti il Nevomante dispone gli abiti dei pupazzi, in cui è racchiusa la personalità e l'esperienza del giocatore. Quindi, sotto gli occhi deliziati del pubblico inizia una forsennata salmodìa che fa formare la neve necessaria ai corpi dei giocatori. E' interessante che a fine partita il Nevomante richiama a se i pupazzi, e sciogliendo l'incanto scioglie la neve che li forma."

"Among the many strange creatures who participated in the game of Blood Bowl a special mention certainly goes to Frosty.  Ok, non è un post di gioco o di modellismo, abbiate pazienza... ma per la prima volta da qualche anno a questa parte, io e la mia dolce metà siamo in vacanza!!

Spero di tornare riposato, rigenerato, e pronto a ricominciare a scrivere su questi lidi!! :D

Bibliotecario Space Marine

 Nel tetro futuro del 40° millennio guai a non riportare un libro in biblioteca! Il ragazzone qui a fianco è un Bibliotecario autocostruito dai pezzi dei Marine Tattici, sarà uno dei Personaggi per il Capitolo Associativo nonché mio alter ego per una mini campagna a Deathwatch. La costruzione è stata piuttosto complessa perché ho voluto provare ad ingrandire un poco il modello, per cui ho tagliato in vari punti la plastica per inserire spessori in plasticard. L'effetto finale si nota poco, anche se è sicuramente più alto di uno Space Marine forse avrei dovuto osare di più... Altre immagini dopo il salto!

The guy on the left is a Librarian homemade from pieces of Tactical Marine, he will be one of the characters for the Club's Chapter as well as my alter ego for a mini campaign of Deathwatch. The building was quite difficult because I wanted to try to enlarge a little on the model, so I cut at various points in the plastic shim in plasticard. The final effect is little, although it is certainly taller than a Space Marine maybe I should be more daring ... More images after the jump!

Diario di Gioco - Hawaii

 Quando ti dicono "Hawaii" il pensiero vola immediatamente a spiagge assolate, palme piene di cocco e splendide ragazze in bikini che danzano... Beh da oggi potreste pure pensare a un gioco da tavolo piuttosto gradevole, in cui ogni giocatore è un capovillaggio e deve far crescere felice e prospero il suo villaggio.

 When you say "Hawaii" thought flies immediately to sunny beaches, palm trees and full of beautiful girls in bikinis who dance ... Well now you might as well think of a board game quite pleasant, in which each player is a village headman and has to grow up happy and prosperous his village.

Tre anni di blog

 Tre anni di Blog, tante cose sono cambiate in questi tre anni, dal modo di scriverlo, al tempo da dedicargli... i cambiamenti succedono, è giusto così... ma alcune cose non cambiano, ed eccomi qui a progettare per il prossimo anno, conscio che molte delle cose che adesso voglio fare non le farò, ma chi mi conosce sa bene che questo non mi ha mai fermato... 

 Three years of Blog, many things have changed in the past three years, the way I write it, the time I can dedicate for that... changes happen, it's just normal... but some things do not change, and here I am planning for next year, knowing that many of the things that now I wish to do, I will not do, but who knows me knows that I have never stopped for this things...

La nascita dei Thugs

 Per chi si dovesse ricordare del mio primo post su questo blog, nel bene e nel male, eccomi a dare un volto ai miei Kuvier's Thugs... ma anche tutto un corpo!

Dopo aver giocato la prima partita con i pupazzetti orribilmente blu ed identici di una antichissima scatola di Bloob Bowl e la seconda partita con modelli proxati ho sentito il bisogno di giocare con una squadra guardabile: non nel senso di bella da vedere, perché non è cosa per me, quanto di riuscire a gestire sensatamente la partita riuscendo a riconoscere correttamente i modelli in campo.

Una prima navigata nel web, andando oltre i modelli GW, mi ha mostrato le meraviglie di squadre di orchi stupendamente scolpite per "altri" giochi ma decisamente compatibili. La tentazione è stata forte ma quella antichissima scatola di Blood Bowl ferma nell'armadio da tanti anni gridava vendetta. Anche perchè se avessi ceduto alla tentazione la totalità dei componenti della scatola, e quindi l'acquisto in se, si sarebbero rivelati inutili.

E quindi, nel tentativo disperato di salvare l'onore del mio shopping compulsivo, ho deciso di mettermi all'opera sui pupazzetti orribilmente blu ed identici di cui sopra, nel tentativo di ottenere dei modelli facilmente distinguibili per aiutarmi a destreggiarmi meglio nei quattro risicatissimi minuti del turno di gioco.

Preso il coraggio a bracciate ho deciso di partire dallo schema di colore e quindi mi sono limitato a pulire una miniatura e a colorarla per vedere cosa usciva fuori. La scelta di colore è caduta sul rosso e bianco per non cedere al banale nero.

 For those who would remember my first post on this blog, for better or for worse, here I am to give a face to my Kuvier's Thugs ... but also the whole body!

After playing the first game with puppets horribly blue and identical to an ancient box Bloob Bowl and the second game with proxy models I felt the need to play with a team watchable, not in the sense of nice to see, because it is not what for me, as to be able to sensibly manage the game, failing to properly recognize models in the field.

A first browsed the web, going beyond the GW models, showed me the wonders of teams of orcs beautifully sculpted for "other" games but definitely compatible. The temptation was strong, but that old box of Blood Bowl still in the closet for many years cried vengeance. Because even if I had succumbed to the temptation all the components of the box, and then purchase itself, would prove useless.

And then, in a desperate attempt to save the honor of my compulsive shopping, I decided to get to work on miniatures horribly blue and identical, in an attempt to obtain models easily distinguishable to help me juggle better in the dirty four minutes turn.

Took my courage in strokes I decided to start from the color scheme, so I have limited myself to clean and paint one model to see what came out. The color choice fell on the red and white for not succumbing to banal black.
