Battle Report - Eldar Vs Sorellanza 1100 pt

Terza e probabilmente ultima partita del secondo turno di campagna contro le Sorelle Guerriere condotte da ZioTrank.

Missione "Conquista dell'Obiettivo" schieramente "Battaglia Campale". Avendo poco tempo a disposizione optiamo per una partita a 1000 pt, le regole della campagna concedono a me 100 pt bonus e a lui 150, oltre alla possibilità di dare regole speciali alle sue unità.

Porto l'inossidabile Eldrad con la sua unità di Vendicatori, un'unità di WarWalker da due con Shuriken Cannon in fiancheggiamento, una da tre con doppio Scatter Laser da mettere vicino a Eldrad, Falcon con Draghi e due unità da tre moto.

Da parte sue abbiamo tre unità di Sorelle imbarcate su Rhino, tre unità con armi pesanti imbarcate anch'esse, un'unità in fiancheggiamento con Immolator, la Santa Celestina e una Canonessa.

Vince lui l'iniziativa e schiera vicino al suo obiettivo, dentro un bosco. Io inizio dallo schieramento una serie infinita di errori, che mi faranno penare per tutta la partita, schierando Eldrad e i Vendicatori sull'obiettivo, pronti a prendersi i colpi di Requiem Pesante dal primo turno...

E infatti al primo turno cinque vendicatori cadono mentre io riesco solo a eliminare un rhino, purtroppo la squadra sbarca dietro al rottame e non riesco a prenderla di mira con i War Walker.

Nel secondo turno avanza e spara con le sue unità pesanti grazie alle regole speciali ottenute in virtù della campagna, e mi elimina i tre WarWalker con il fuoco di una sola unità. Continua la moria di Vendicatori, e Celestina avanza.
Io faccio sbarcare i Draghi che arrostiscono Celestina, il Falcon turba al sicuro, così come le moto.

Celestina ritorna con una ferita, arrostisce due Vendicatori e viene uccisa (di nuovo) da Eldrad in corpo a corpo. Il resto del fuoco fa pochi danni, d'altronde avevo poca roba. Menzione d'onore ai Draghi che prima falliscono il test di disciplina e poi fuggono di 12"...
I Walker in fiancheggiamento arrivano, provo a mettere pressione al suo obiettivo e riesco nell'incredibile impresa di eliminare una singola sorella... Eldrad lascia l'obiettivo e si prepara a fare il possibile per fermare le truppe in avvicinamento. Continuo a turbare con le moto.

Il fuoco concentrato delle Sorelle non riesce a fermare Eldrad, ma distrugge senza problemi un'unità di moto. Il Vecchio di Ulthuan elimina un'unità da solo e si prepara a bloccarne un'altra, mentre il Falcon turba sul suo obiettivo, intenzionato a prendersi più fuoco possibile per far arrivare dopo le moto.

Il Falcon realizza il suo scopo, esplodendo dopo che tutte le sorelle avevano sparato, Eldrad ferma efficacemente un'unità di truppa dal raggiungere il mio obiettivo, e le moto turbano a contestare il suo. Per mia grande fortuna la partita finisce, con il suo obiettivo contestato e il mio vuoto.

Un pareggio veramente rubato, per gli errori fatti avrei decisamente meritato una sconfitta... ma come si suol dire bisogna imparare dagli errori, spero la prossima volta di fare meglio!

A draw really stolen, for the mistakes I definitely deserved a defeat ... but as they say we must learn from mistakes, I hope to do better next time!
